@uniongal @sugaroverflow I'd love it if you could stop by the ddi channel sometime so we can talk more about this. I'm not sure I entirely understand your points, and I'd like to explain our motivations for structuring as such.

@hrodrig @sugaroverflow It's the way this document is structured that is giving me pause. It doesn't seem to actually focus on updating our existing Mission, Values and Principles. Not from what I read in the request for a charter.

I strongly believe that the Drupal community needs an explicit values and principles document. I also know that the current values, as written, are harmful and exclusionary to many people in the Drupal community. 1/

@uniongal @sugaroverflow Right @uniongal I totally agree with you! I think what the goal of the charter is to first get sign-off on being able to work on the mission and values by being transparent about the process and deliverables.

@PreciselyAlyss Haha, been there! I have a Best of for fainting 😂 Universal Studios was near top of that list. Florinef was the drug I found most helpful, but I’m hoping medicine is slightly better now? Maybe?

@hrodrig Nice to meet you too :) I only discovered I was lactose intolerant in the last couple of years and even more recently for POTS. Fainting at parties is a disappointing party trick 😂
