@likesrosies yesss it takes him long to even get her to agree to tutoring + even want to consider him a friend, it felt like a genuine slow burn into their relationship

thing i preferred in the book was how hannahgarrett's relationship developed more gradually through tutoring, friendship, and growing trust. the progression felt more earned. i also loved their witty banter flirtation and tension and wish we'd gotten more of it in the show.
