HSLogos

🗺️With these state logo maps and mascot questions going around, it's a good time to mention that I have Google Maps of EVERY state's high schools, adding logos as they get added to HSLogos and a Google Sheet doc with all HS mascot stats! 📄 DM me your email address for links.

In the last month, the first @MPSSAA_Org schools were added to HSLogos, bringing the count up to 47 states represented on the site! Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Nevada, Tennessee, and Washington are also highlighted in the most recent update. Some great additions today!

Another dozen Tennessee schools were added in the past week, plus another from AK and WA. More to come from the plains in the next week.

With the most recent update, Tennessee becomes the 46th state on HSLogos, with 15 schools shown so far; Alaska and Washington join the Volunteer State in today's list.

53 schools have been added to HSLogos in the last week, adding to the totals in Washington, Alaska, and Arkansas. As always, thank you to the school administrators who verify the logos so they can be displayed. More to come throughout 2026! Which ones here stick out to you?

@thesouc What was the tie breaker again between Marist and UP-Bronzeville? Also, do you have a Solorio/Vocational or CMA-Bronzeville/Fenger score, if played?

FIELD CHANGE: Edwardsville received one more point from out of state opponent last night than expected allowing them to leap frog Marist for last playoff spot. Edwardsville into Class 7A field, Belleville East sildes into former Marist spot in 8A.

Seven Connecticut schools are featured in the most recent update of HSLogos. Which sticks out the most to you?

Check out some of the newest updates on HSLogos, including the northernmost school in the US, the first Connecticut school on the site, and two more in the growing Kentucky page. School admins can send logos and permission to use them to admin@hslogos.com.

🧊Utqiagvik/Barrow (pop ~5,000) is so unique, rooted in traditional subsistence whaling (hence the mascot) but has kept up on modern practices and tech, all highlighted at the local heritage center. Big shout out to my mother @JenJo21 for joining me on this chilly getaway! (5/5)

🛶I also visited the high school and got a quick tour from their principal. Barrow HS recently got a shiny new gym floor, featuring the local "whale bone arch" landmark in the free throw lane. Around the school, old thick-carpeted walls still hang to show school spirit. (4/5)

🐋A massive bucket list adventure this week took me to Utqiagvik, Alaska, for HS football at the northernmost field in America, mere yards from Imikpuk Lake and the Arctic Ocean. The Barrow HS Whalers hosted the Redington Huskies in a season-opening win @CoachCBattle. (1/5)
