Sometimes I feel bad for Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant. Both of them are not part of India’s T20 team, even though they are among the biggest players of this generation across all formats. Still, some people in the Board of Control for Cricket in India are not giving them enough opportunities, which is quite unfortunate. Players like these come once in many years, just like Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag in the past. In today’s cricket, there seems to be too much politics involved. The BCCI should seriously rethink and consider including both players in the T20 team as soon as possible, otherwise it might be too late.
