Personality ; Colline Masiga Title ; CEO Rwenzori Marathon I generally do a lot of reflection as a person especially about things I do and yesterday I thought about @CMasiga. At some point, I thought he wasn’t going to handle the pressure from me and he too confessed and said, I was so angry about you at some point but I realized you are our leader. He adds, I do realize that’s not personal, it’s just how things work. Yesterday we laughed hard about it, I told him he was a great guy. I wish there a behind the scenes movie of things we do? He is the team leader especially of the core team of @RwenzoriMarathn and I intend to focus on the bigger picture, opening doors, doing the uncomfortable calls, engaging leaders. Dealing and planning out some international contacts, engaging embassies etc. generally the networking space. But once in a while, I will call just to ask stuff like have service providers been paid, has the team been facilitated, stuff like that and good we understand everyone’s strength. Many people assume am a nice guy, if I want things to succeed, I will bully, push, shout and that’s how I have been wired. Yes, I have some good days and i appreciate when people do stuff well. I take him most of the times with me in high profile meetings so he sees how I navigate such spaces. Sometimes he comes out shaking his head. Many of you haven’t seen me in board, I can be horrible. Of course one of my dream too is to build leaders and he is one of them, leaders don’t have to necessarily be nice, they have to be committed to results. It’s a lot easier for me because all my life has been working under pressure pressure for things to succeed. I sometimes go under pressure and people around me think, eh is he going manage? Some lady who I know walked to me recently and said, I have observed, you can start fights with people in one minute and a few minutes later, you are praising them and laughing with them. I grew up in a children’s home, 48 boys, one corner would have a fight, another laughing at the same. Whether we fought in the morning, we had to work together in the evening. Was like a military camp.

Exercises At 52yrs, i feel that one gets fat even on drinking water. I have fat genes I think from mom and therefore, have to work extra hard. Done my 12kms today morning, good running weather. Trying to see if I can run Fortportal marathon this coming weekend.
