Im not sure Ronaldo is a definitive number 2, but your take is definitely closer to reality than Gads one. Ronaldo could really do everything, he chose to develop as an insane goal scorer with out of the world stats and thats what he did. Became an athletic machine that could keep it up beyond what others are capable. I also enjoy Messis calm, calculated and elegant style more, but putting down Ronaldo (opportunistic goal scorer in world class team lol) is simplistic thinking.

This is one of if not the worst take in soccer I’ve ever heard.. it’s Messi and Ronaldo and then everyone else. you don’t just win everything Ronaldo won and score as many goals as he has for the best team in the world like Real Madrid by being really fast and speedy and an athlete 😂 even zidane himself knows he doesn’t hold a candle to ronaldo’s genius. Ronaldo was a genius in everything: dribbling, IQ, vision, control, positioning, shooting, speed. There is nothing Ronaldo couldn’t do. Just bc you prefer an elegant slow dribble like zidane doesn’t mean objectively he’s better. Ronaldo did everything zidane could do with the ball x10. Literally and figuratively lol he literally scored more than 10x what zidane scored. All his goals were from anywhere on the field- which means, In terms of dribbling and skill, He could dribble from anywhere on the field, left, right, center, from the half, receive a long ball from 50 yards out with a defender on him and control, make a move or dribble and score. Zidane couldn’t dribble that many opponents to then get open and make an important assist or score. He was limited compared to Ronaldo. He was a slow elegant type is what he was. Even zidane could only do some of what Ronaldo did a handful of times in his career. Ronaldo made impossible dribbles and assists and goals on a yearly basis. Zidane had the Leverkusen volley. Ronaldo had the bicycle kick against juventus. Bicycle kick much more impressive and difficult and technical lol Maradona and pele had potential to be as good as Ronaldo or messi but never did: maradona bc he didn’t take care of himself or seem to want to put in effort or care about his career. And that to me is a failure and makes him less of a player. Pele bc he never went to play in the best leagues and clubs.

This morning, Rumble and Trump Media asked a U.S. federal court to enter default against Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. Moraes was properly served by a method authorized by a federal judge. The 21-day deadline to respond passed. He did not appear, respond, or ask for more time. The Government of Brazil sought to intervene at the eleventh hour, but clarified that it does not represent Moraes. Around the world, governments are increasingly trying to regulate speech beyond their borders. What is different about Moraes’s case is that a foreign official may now be held accountable in a U.S. court for trying to regulate the speech of U.S. persons inside the United States while bypassing the First Amendment — and for seeking private data of U.S. users while bypassing U.S. legal process. This case is not about whether Brazil may enforce Brazilian law in Brazil. It is about whether a foreign judge may use secret orders to reach into the United States and control speech, data and platforms through unlawful coercive threats. The answer should matter to every American, regardless of politics.

Quentin Tarantino says Death Proof (2007) is “the worst movie I ever made.” "And for a left-handed movie, that wasn't so bad, all right? So if that's the worst I ever get, I'm good.” “But I do think one of those out-of-touch, old, limp, flaccid-d*ck movies costs you three good movies as far as your rating is concerned." He got the idea for “Death Proof” during a drunken night with Sean Penn. He wanted to buy a Volvo because he “didn’t want to die in some auto accident”. Penn said that for $15,000, a stunt team could “death-proof” any car.

@ifancyachat @TheTateClips Whats wrong about it? I didn't check the numbers for uk, but that's about the breakdown for most countries. Few people work, of those that do, most don't earn enough to be a net contributor. So those who work and are a net contributor in effect carry the system and are a minority

1. criticism of migration is more complicated then "being allowed". The media will paint you as a Nazi, the left will hate and threaten you and depending on your job (the more left wing the worse) you can lose it or suffer social consequences. 2. whats the point of criticism if it gets ignored? The government has its plans which are against its own population, they dont care if parts of the population dont like it. 3. The correct answer would be to vote these people out of power, but Europe does everything to prevent that (repeating elections with "bad" results, excluding alternative parties from governments/coalitions and trying to outright forbid them). In Germany its a cartel of parties that make certain policies impossible to vote for. Until the majority of people see the problem nothing will change. And thanks to media brainwashing, muslim migration growth and EU childlessness, once they realize huge damage will have been done that might not be reversible anymore. This insane situation is what drives people to violence and creates hate and resentment as well as desperation. Im sure it will have to get worse before it gets better (if it even does).

The sharing of non-consensual intimate images is utterly abhorrent. That's why when we learnt people were using AI tool Grok to make vile images, we moved quickly to get it stopped. Today, we are going further. We are putting social media companies on notice to take down any non-consensual intimate images within 48 hours. I know there’s more to do. Violence against women and girls has no place in our society. We must root it out.

I dont think it does. The top 10% of men (as perceived by women) can choose the top 10% of women (as perceived by them). The man doesnt need to know how women rate exactly, just that he can choose as most women show interest in them, letting them choose the most attractive females. It's also an approximation obviously, as some top men might be interested in less then top 10% women for different reasons and vice versa, but most people instinctively choose the best partner they can get due to evolution. As to why form couples: it's a good question, but the described scenario presupposes a monogamous society.

However, this presupposes that both sexes have the same ideas about who the top 10 of their own and the opposite sex are. Incidentally, this is about forming couples. Why form couples when the sexual division of labor has been abolished in the context of women's emancipation? It seems easier to just arrange to have sex occasionally and with different partners. The complete abolition of the sexual division of labor in the context of women's emancipation, which was originally part of the biological nature of humans (without the sexual division of labor, humans would not have been able to develop large brains), was essentially the death knell for the human reproductive unit known as the “family.” And since then, birth rates have continued to plummet.

Translation: "Every woman wants a top-10% man." That is women's job, to identify the top men and reproduce them. If women hadn't done that for millions of years, we would look like fish. This doesn't mean "mediocre" (i.e., average) men aren't "good enough." There is no such thing as "good enough." We're either top-10%, or we aren't, and no matter how much we improve, 90% of us are always going to fail that screen. Unfortunately, absent polygamy, this means there are only enough acceptable men for the top 10% of women. So if you're a woman, but not in the top 10%, I hope you love your cat.

@PeterMersch @DrInsensitive Assuming people only have one partner (absent polygamy), the top 10% of men will tend to be with the top 10% of women, so if the bottom 90% of women want top 10% men only, they won't find a free one (that's willing to be with them). Whats the issue?
