One of the best scouts I've ever been around (Tom Kotchman) and one of my mentors always said.
I want to see kids play in intersquad games (so called meaningless games) and or practice.
Why?
He said how they played in low adrenaline environments is who they really are.
MLB seasons are long, and players have to be studs even when the adrenaline is low.
