Can we actually put kids in slum directly on govt if a bus driver has 22 kids and yet spends all his daily revenue on beer and peppersoup? A large number of young girls who should be the Uni today are on the roadside. This dysfunction begins with the collapse of the family unit.

I still believe there are things pregnancy do to women that aren't fully understood. A lady who finished 1st class in civil engineering married then rejected an offer to a high paying job to have her first baby. Her dad got her another offer while on maternity for the second time but she refused to resume. Because the old man wont let her be, she finally opened up she'll like to start selling Kerosene in front of the house, so that she'd have time for her children.

Oya, let me share the true picture of that gist you people have been tagging me to…now that the news is out. Every single stakeholder in Ogun East was present at the stakeholders’ meeting today, and they all agreed unanimously to Prince Dapo Abiodun as their choice candidate for the 2027 Senate elections (news is everywhere now). However, the man who knew he was not going to win more than his own voice-vote wanted to introduce tricks by bringing in his own crowd and entering the premises with a bus (it’s in the video being shared). According to witness reports from people at the venue. He was informed by the protocol to use a smaller vehicle to gain access to the premises (so they can verify it’s only him and a driver + aide) or just walk in. He was further informed that in accordance with established protocol, he would only enter the meeting room alone, as his invitation to the high-level stakeholders meeting is for only him. And for that, the protocol stood their ground that the uninvited supporters would not be allowed in to avoid problems. He switched to political theatre and framed that the whole thing and framed the video for the media as being denied entry. Ogun State is enjoying a period of political peace. For the first time ever, we have witnessed a peaceful transition of the political mantle from incumbent, Prince Dapo Abiodun to his announced successor, Senator Solomon Yayi, whose candidacy is the will of the people for the next chapter in the development of our dear Ogun State. We don’t want any form of chaos or political violence in Ogun State again. Edakun. 🙏🙏

BREAKING🚨: Governor Dapo Abiodun CON has been unanimously endorsed by the Leaders and Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun East Senatorial District as the consensus candidate for the 2027 senatorial election. The endorsement was announced on Monday at a well-attended gathering held at Adeola Odutola Hall in Ijebu-Ode, bringing together a broad coalition of party leaders and grassroots representatives from across the district. The event drew members of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), former and serving local government chairmen, past and present lawmakers at both state and national levels, councillors from all wards in the district, as well as women and youth leaders. Speaking on behalf of stakeholders, former Ogun East senator, Lekan Mustapha, said the decision was driven by a shared conviction that Governor Abiodun possesses the capacity to represent the district effectively at the Senate. According to him, party leaders would formally communicate the endorsement to the governor, including a commitment to purchase his nomination forms for the 2027 election. “We will put a body together to deliver this message to our Governor that he has been adopted as the consensus candidate,” Mustapha said, describing Abiodun as a leader of strong character and sound intellect. In his remarks, the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, noted that the governor’s track record in governance and party cohesion made him deserving of the Senate seat. “This endorsement is historic and unanimous. It reflects the collective belief that Prince Dapo Abiodun is the right person for the position,” he stated. Also speaking, House of Representatives member, Femi Ogunbanwo, representing Odogbolu, Ijebu-Ode and Ijebu North East Federal Constituency, said the governor’s administration has fostered peace and development across the state, expressing confidence that he would attract more dividends of democracy to Ogun East at the national level. Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Hon. Afolabi Odulate, commended the governor’s performance and reiterated the district’s collective appeal for him to accept the senatorial bid. The event witnessed participation from all 103 councillors across the nine local governments in Ogun East, alongside youth leaders and key grassroots mobilisers. Prominent figures in attendance included former senators Gbenga Kaka and Lekan Mustapha, Ogun East APC Chairman Adedoyin Adeleke, and respected party elders such as Kola Ogunjobi, Bayo Dayo, Durojaye, Pegba Otemolu, James Dina, and Osibote Amoran. Also present were notable political figures and mobilisers including Femi Nuberu, Yinka Adeleye, Jokotade Kasimawo, Toyin Jekami, Kuburat Arigbabu, Aremu Babatunde, Ojuroye, Tajudeen Adedeko, Adefowora Akeem, Blessed Ogunsola, Ogunnde Razaki, and Sakiru Folorunso. Members of the House of Representatives from the district — Adesola Elegbeji, Joseph Adegbesan, and Femi Ogunbanwo — also attended in solidarity, underscoring the widespread backing for the governor’s anticipated senatorial bid.

A new wave of transformation is rising from Atan, Ota in Ogun State as the massive construction of the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway gains momentum. This is more than just a road, it’s a bold step towards economic growth, regional connectivity, and a stronger Nigeria. From the North to the Southwest, this project is set to unlock opportunities, ease movement, and boost trade like never before. Kudos to Mr. President @officialABAT and the Honourable Minister of Works @FMWNIG, Engr. Dave Umahi @DaveUmahi, for driving this vision forward. The future is being built right before our eyes.

One thing so many non-Yorubas don’t understand about Yoruba people is that we can decide to be Eebu-dọla and turn your insult to a flex. We will turn around your insult, render it with meaningless, redress it and wear it as a badge of pride. Many people were not here when ‘Yoruba Demon’ was first coined. Its initial use was negative, then boys began wearing it as a thing of pride. The same with “bigot” 3-4byears ago, people were afraid of being called that, and it was weaponized to silence our people. Today, nobody dey even care again. Call them bigot, dem go just laugh.
