Sketching along Rochdale Canal Ancoats Manchester. The bridge is a very prominent bridge along the canal love the steepness and curvature it has. The two fingers in the foreground are of the same person operating different parts of the lock to let his canalboat through.

New painting looking down Deansgate oil on canvas 40 x 50 cm One of the longest and oldest roads in Manchester. Sounds of traffic echo a mile away at the other end of the road. And in the past I can hear the Roman legions this road used to be flanked by field until the 1700s.
