2/2 As I sat with Dad in A&E in the early hours of Mon morning he asked me to go &do my job “raise your voice for the voiceless “ he said “ they need you more than I do” This week I’ve tried to do that But also trying to be a daughter too - so forgive me if I don’t reply/respond

I have not wanted to put this out because it’s personal But with the large number of calls / messages I’m getting for help/ support/ comment - I wanted to say please bear with me Dad had a heart attack about 6 days ago He is stable but in hospital & likely to be here a while.1/2

For #texpo showcase created a collection of fashion accessories through ocean waste, paper, plastic waste and upcycled material. The ocean waste is hand recycled by the fishermen living in Karachi coastal area. Every piece is handcrafted by refugees and Ghizer valley artisans.

A day well spent with our Afghan artisans - as the world refugee day is coming close, we need to be more compassionate and work on skills and creativity that transcend borders and connect people. #withrefugees #worldrefugeeday #unhcrpakistan

6 months after the floods ravaged Pakistan, 9.6 million children still need lifesaving support. We need the continued support of our donors to provide safe drinking water, build toilets and deliver vital sanitation services to these children and families who need them the most.

Missing the great hospitality of my friend @ElizabethAubin and of course the beautiful Algiers. Loved everything from craft to food to places and most of all it’s people. Thank you for showing us around. ❤️

For decades, Pakistan and its people have generously stepped up to support millions of Afghan refugees. Now, they need us. As the country #buildsforwardbetter from the calamitous floods of last year, the international community must show solidarity and invest in its recovery.

Before and After 🙏🏻 The road neglected for over 20 years despite being in the heart of an active industrial area with thousands of pedestrians crossing every day with open gutters. It shows you are a people’s person n believe in their well-being. May God bless you @murtazawahab1
