@palpiz2 in the book, lestat was forced to participate in the trial after being tortured by armand. in the show, it is also hinted that he was forced to be there (the bruising, the swaying, etc.) but we don't know the circumstances of that yet. the hope is that they revisit it in s4!!

@humanstat I just read a post, and they were pointing out some bruises on his hands and fingers, that he wasn’t there willingly and becuz all of this he was crying in last episode season 2, where he says: Claudia was watching him like a child 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I’m confused!
