@CamOnAir_ @hummingmintsTV I do shorts livestreams on YouTube.(it’s kinda the wave) but those shorts streams count towards the regular watch hours. It’s kinda backwards lol but YouTube counts it as a regular stream.

hi YouTube gurus of twitter. is being a livestream focused YouTuber a thing? I do much better with livestreams than my longform content on there so I was just curious.

@hummingmintsTV It helps, but I believe doing it that way, you’re subject to the shorts requirement for partnership and not the regular requirements. So doing it that way will require 10 million views in 30 days, alongside the sub requirement (still 1k I believe)

@CamOnAir_ I just do shorts streams now that vertical is an option and that’s how I show up in the shorts feed. Is that enough or no?

@hummingmintsTV It’s how I got my first channel partnered, so yes Livestreams and then shorts from those live streams go a long way. Gotta do both because the shorts will reach people and gain impressions, and then your lives will show up to ppl while they’re scrolling even if they don’t sub.
