I have some thoughts on analytics. They are probably useful, but not nearly as useful as in the NBA. Pope has said this himself (sample size). So if you have the biggest budget in the country why would your guiding principle still be a heavy emphasis on analytics? And you know they did because multiple times he cited an obscure stat about Jaland Lowe's shot quality percentage last year (his shot quality this year is still TBD). I just feel like if you know you have the most money you'd throw more of it at the very best players/athletes. I'd rather have a couple of true studs (Mikel Brown Jr) than several interesting pieces.

Been a breakout year for this young man. Continue working and good things will come.

Play was bad but I think they’ve earned the benefit of the doubt for a little while. Just my thoughts. Seemed a bit harsh for the situation.

Hey Donnie! Great question. We write halftime posts for every game and Kentucky happened to be down by 16 at the time. I wanted the team to win, and to do that, they had to “do better.” And they did do better! Time exists and can sometimes be fun! Hope this helps.
