Wanted to replay Halo 2 and I can't quite put my finger on why... but having the Master Chief Collection installed feels like willingly having malware on my computer.

I will say it because more people should: nu Marathon is a great game. It is already more than Destiny ever was. Popularity contest aside: this game is a ton of fun to play and has zero pay to win elements. It deserves all the praise it gets.

You can breathe a bit easier Runners. Sony’s CFO Lin Tao confirmed Marathon will continue to be supported! Here is what they said in full - “In our studio business, earnings from Bungie's title portfolio did not reach our expectations, so we downwardly revised our business plan and impaired the full amount of the fixed assets related to Bungie except for goodwill. Player reception to Marathon is strong, with the game receiving a Metacritic score of 82 and more than 90% of the player reviews on Steam being positive. Engagement metrics such as retention also remain at a high level. Going forward, we aim to improve the performance of the game by working to retain highly engaged core users through the introduction of additional content, further improvements in the gameplay experience and expansion of the user base.”

I want to add that Deep Space 9 also has one of my favorite antagonists of all time and it's funny how often I find myself thinking about Gul Dukat.

@Kerzeinr Girlfriend stuff in s1 really goes nowhere and I end up just skipping it on rewatch (like yeah I get what they’re doing with it with the Kemper stuff but still).
S2 focuses to much on the one Georgia case and ends in a BTK sized cliffhanger.

True Detective Season 1 was really solid. Great performances, well written, competently shot, though I wouldn’t rate it quite as highly as my friend who recommended it to me. 8.5 or a 9 out of 10. He’s advised me to only watch Season 1 as it falls apart in later seasons.

Custom Robo, on the other hand, has been a lot of fun to replay so far. I’m surprised by how many chuckles the dialogue is getting out of me and I’m also enjoying the DevientArt-looking portraits the characters frequently cycle between as they’re talking.

Mega Man X Command Mission does a decent amount of cool things that I can see being why it drew me in so much as a kid, but between frequent random encounters rates, sparse save point placement, and a story that feels like half of it is missing, it got to be quite the slog.

It's funny that one of my good friends went through the exact arc I'm going through with Dragon's Dogma 2 and then again with Monster Hunter Wilds. Jesus christ I hope Pragmata is good since it's a new IP and they might not be able to just make it slop to whore out for money.
