@AmiriKing You are peddling total BS. There are not “3628 different variations” of .30-06 rifles. I would wager this is simply engagement bait. You’re no expert.

Listen to me and listen good. I used to train the snipers that trained the snipers in the military. I have shot all 3628 different variations of .30-06 rifles. ALL OF THEM. MULTIPLE TIMES. I literally have a certificate on my wall from the .30-06 Rifle Shooters Organization. A .30-06 bullet will make a human head LITERALLY implode simply by whizzing past one. I’ve seen it happen in Bosnia. I’ve seen it happen in Iran. I’ve seen it happen in Destin Florida. If a .30-06 round hits any part of the human body, the entire body will EXPLODE. And here’s a little fun fact for all the internet experts out there: - 30 stands for how many deaths one round can cause. - 06 is a humans chance of survival if they are shot with one of these rounds. So shut your fucking mouths if you don’t know what you’re talking about.

@EdLElliott1 @ImBreckWorsham I agree with every single thing you said except “rarely”. I have many game animals with that EXACT round, and an exit wound is exceedingly rare.

I have hunted all over Africa and America mostly using a 30-06 same gun used to kill Charlie. To say or believe something nefarious happened because there was no exit wound is ignorance. First of all bullets can do some strange things after hitting their targets. I shot a springbuck with a very slender neck. We didn’t want to damage any of the meat so I made a neck shot. There was no exit wound as the bullet traveled down the spinal cord as it did in Charlie’s case. I actually said to friends the day Charlie was killed when people were wondering why no exit wound I bet it hit the spine and redirected that energy down into the spinal cord. When the autopsy confirmed that at a later date I was not at all surprised as having witnessed the same a few times while hunting. Ask any professional culler who shots game in the neck with a .30 caliber rifle and they all witnessed a time or two where there weren’t exits wounds because the bullet deflected downward through the neck. It is rare but does happen from time to time.

As I promised @ClownWorld, I tried In-N-Out Burger for the very first time today. I stopped in for lunch, and here's my honest review. The place was absolutely packed. I mean... really busy. The drive-thru has two lanes, and both were backed up a long way. The prices were actually very good. I ordered a #3 burger, one unsweet tea, and one small light pink lemonade. My total was a little over $10. Not bad at all, and actually a little cheaper than Whataburger and Wendy's. Presentation: I really liked how everything came in an open-faced box. It was neat, organized, and easy to carry. Now... let's get to the food. French Fries: Sorry, but I just didn't like the fries. Some were overcooked, some were soggy, and a few were just okay. There was no consistency, and not a single fry was crispy. Drinks: The unsweet tea was surprisingly good. The light pink lemonade was refreshing, not too sweet or tart, and enjoyable as well. This would be great in the Texas summer heat. Hamburger: The burger was a little smaller than I expected, but it ended up being the perfect size for me. I really liked the sauce. The lettuce, tomato, and onion were fresh and crisp, not soggy or wilted, which I appreciated. The bun was soft and fresh. The beef itself was decent, but it was pretty bland and could have used a little seasoning. Overall, the burger wasn't bad at all. I'd call it an average burger. FINAL REVIEW: I'd definitely go back for the burger and the drinks, but I would skip the fries. Unfortunately, the fries were the biggest disappointment. In my opinion, both Whataburger and Wendy's have much better fries. I just can't see myself going to In-N-Out for a burger and then wishing I had Whataburger fries. So... Whataburger remains my #1 fast-food burger restaurant. #1 – Whataburger #2 – Wendy's #3 – In-N-Out The burger at In-N-Out is about the same as Wendy's, but Wendy's better fries are what earn it the #2 spot. I enjoyed the burger, and I simply wanted to give my honest, transparent opinion. What's your #1 favorite hamburger restaurant?

@freshwiggerpig I do know that the largest women in office are far more likely to be the ones heating up a “Lean Cuisine” for lunch, along with a “diet” soft drink … right after gorging themselves all morning on on vendor-supplied “donut trays”. Every. Single. Day.

We've had 10 months of random people on the internet pretending to be ballistics experts without even knowing the exact type of ammunition that was used. Then, today we finally learn that a Remington Core-Lokt soft point round was used, a controlled-expansion hunting bullet with a copper jacket and exposed lead tip that is intentionally designed to deform and expand on impact, preventing full penetration. As it would turn out, all of the internet "experts" are pretty much just fucking morons. Go figure.

"Preventing full penetration" is not a thing a round is designed to do. Cause max damage is perhaps. The type of round is not the most salient factor. Please talk about the force at impact of any round shot from a 30.06 rifle from 150 yards (and from a height) into a human neck. Thank you. Surely there are some principles of Physics we can all agree on. And please refrain from preaching your points with ad hominem attacks on those who offer a different opinion from your rather shoddy one.

@americanus_cpqa @MattMorseTV Says idiots who have never fired a single round at a live target. I have fired that precise round at deer and hogs, and i can assure you that is exactly what you get. There is no exit wound, there is no “blowing the head off” of anything.

@MattMorseTV Only morons would think that a .30-06 would stop on someone's neck just because it was a soft tip. That doesn't mean it carries any less energy. If anything, it means the damage should have been even more devastating

@MattMorseTV The neck isn't going to provide enough mass to prevent it from exiting. Hell his torso wouldn't be enough mass. 150 gr 30-06 soft point will expand but it's going right through and out of a ~200 lb critter no matter where you hit it. Crazy things happen tho but it's unlikely.
