But can someone explain to me what the difference is between a "halal" egg and a "non-halal" egg?

@RamblingSingh I agree, everyone has a choice to eat what they want, what ever they want no problem at all. So many options available but clearly the intentions can be seen.
We all want to live peacefully and be good with everyone but many people don't help.

There is no issue with a place choosing not to sell halal. Plenty of people, myself included, prefer not to eat halal and will choose non halal places accordingly. That is not the problem.

Gurudwara Khlasa Jatha is not more than fifteen minutes walk from Harman's restaurant, if all the Sikhs going there cannot come together for Harman as a community, then this simply exposes double standards of some community members that outright cry victimhood (for some reason always directed at India). This victimhood that is then shoved down the throat of larger community, which easliy goes up in arms with pitch forks without any thought, writing letters and articles. Harman's issue is not his issue alone, it is a issue of every Sikh in UK, not standing with harman as community when members of Muslim community in UK are clearly harassing him on the ground for practicing his religious believes of not serving Halal, shows either the cowardice or standards of convenience, that are fluid, pretentious or shallow and not rooted in core Sikh value.

I have written to Cllr Warren Goldsworthy, Reform’s Cabinet Member for Highways at Lancashire County Council, opposing the decision to switch on enforcement cameras on the New Hall Lane bus lane.
Local residents and businesses want it scrapped. They are being ignored.
Working communities deserve better.
