Today I visited the national team The Harambee Stars at their residential camp in Rwanda as they gear up for the FIFA Series tournament beginning tomorrow. I encouraged them to give their best performance in the tournament and highlighed the importance of the competition as a crucial step in preparations for AFCON 2027.

With just 16 days to go, Nairobi is gearing up to host the 2026 FIFA Series Women, a landmark event that will see Kenya, Australia, Malawi and India, compete in the country's first-ever FIFA tournament. FKF has not received any funding for Women's Development since we assumed office. We're currently finalizing on the strategic plan to meet FIFA's requirements to unlock the funds.

In our first year, the largest share of our revenue was invested in women's football.
