@candacednewby I enjoy watching them grow but still enjoy those who stick with the same sound. Tyler and Sturgill are two I have followed from early in their careers and I’ve really enjoyed their evolution.

@NicsJourney For chix, esp. chix breast/whole bird on smoker /grill I usually brine. Pork, if it’s fresh/frozen & not that injected crap I just make sure not to overcook it, same on beef prep but a good teriyaki or “Japanese” bbq marindae adds some flavor to both. Just watch sugar content

Let's talk about beef, chicken or pork skewers. It's hard not to overcook them and having to eat sawdust. Any good marinade or cooking suggestions?

@Don_K_Williams In the 80s for me and mine would drop me off at practice & usually pick up on time but remember waiting with coaches some evenings. 1 of them usually attended most games. I was playing for me & my team.
In college they both traveled 2+ hrs to most home games, even on weekdays

I asked my dad if parents were involved in kids sports when he was a kid in the 60s. He told me one time a dad came to watch an inning or two of a little league game, and it was such a big deal to have a parent watching that the coach changed the batting order so he could see his kid bat.
