Sometimes I wonder if love just isn't something meant for me in this lifetime. Not because I don't feel deeply, but maybe because the pieces never quite fit the way they should. Still, I like to imagine that somewhere, in another place or time, there's a version of me who found the kind of love that doesn't ache, one that stayed, one that felt like home.

@hwasecng You know, Hwa, sometimes it's not because of the 'love', love was born pure and sincere. It's a matter of the people, the environment, or the ocassion who make love sounds so devastating and miserable. Maybe, it's just not now, not today.

The rain kept falling. I didn't mind. The cottage was quiet, filled with the scent of roses and rain. I poured myself a cup of warm tea and leaned back. Today was simple, soft, and just right.
