Mixed feelings about this one...best PGC I've called & played but still fell short of the 🏆. Happy with how my team performed throughout the event...few different ⭕️ shifts or fights go our way and we could've won. Guess it stings more knowing it's the last FPP tourney I'll play

This is a great recap of our last PGS series. I'm hoping we take some of these lessons into winning PGC. Flying to Thailand now, going to be missing out on seeing family for the holidays, so we must lift the trophy again to make all this time and effort worth it ~ 🏆

Format announced for clusterduck known in KR PUBG as PWS Cup 2025 ⚠️ WALL OF TEXT BELOW Stage 1 June 30th - Race -> 24 teams, 4-hour or 200pt Race format (bottom 8 must play next match). 10pt per WWCD, 3pt per elim, -10 for 9th to 16th July 1st - Sprint -> top 16 of Race, 2-hour Race format, NO PLACEMENT PTS (only 1 pt per kill) Stage 2 July 2nd - Eight -> 24 teams (seeded by Stage 1 standings), 8 matches, "rotation" system (top 8 advances to next game), SUPER point system July 3rd - Winner -> top 16 of Eight, 6 matches, placement points ONLY for WWCD (10pt) Stage 3 July 4th - WWCD -> teams seeded based on Stage 1 + 2 results, 8 games in WWCD format, win and you're in the Final + get Headstart Points July 5th - Elimination -> 16 teams that failed to get WWCD play a Bo4 (EMTR), top 8 goes to Finals Finals on July 6th - Smash Rule -> team MUST have 50+ pt before WWCD, and be #1 in overall standings after winning WWCD to win the Final. 3rd place in back to back tournaments, had a chance to win both of them. Proud of the boys and our mental. We played really well in both but came up short, definitely could’ve had more points so it’s no one’s fault but ours. Overall I’m happy with how we played. Onto the next 🤙🏼

Disappointed in the power ranking decisions being made here. As it stands, PUBG are evaluating teams via their organization and not the players. All of our past achievements under Soniqs have been nullified in our power ranking because we signed with Falcons. Soniqs is quite literally liquidated and doesn't exist anymore. For a championship such as the Esports World Cup, which is basing their invites off this power ranking, this completely undermines the integrity of the invites as you can simply inherit another teams points to qualify, or in our case not qualify. As the winners of the last EWC, it just seems totally estranged from what PUBG's goals should be as a game. This disincentivizes any organization to pick up a top team because they will not be granted the power ranking, similarly it traps players into potentially predatory organizations who can undercut pay on the premises that they hold the EWC invite position.

Guess winning EWC and getting 2nd and 5th in PGS doesn't matter anymore. Seems fair. Great idea pubg 🤷‍♂️
