Some. But many can be eaten by both and would have been. Just because you don't eat it doesn't mean your ancestors didn't. There are many, many plants that were historically eaten that we don't know about. Ever eaten plantain? Or dandelion? Or fern? Just a couple of examples. I just had a quick look and the evidence does exist, so a new article coming up when I have time. So stay posted!

I just finished this article discussing some Carnivore diet myths such as the assumption that there were zero carbs available during the ice age, and the 'multiple civilisations' (according to Dr Chaffee) that have survived without carbs (the common example being the Inuit). These stories are nonsense. And no, this is not a hit piece on the carnivore diet. 🙄 In fact I'm probably heading back to some version of a carnivore or ketovore diet very soon. @susanwoledge So I assume you missed the irony of it then? I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure some plants that are eaten by animals aren’t eaten by humans. Plenty of actually pretty big animals survive eating mainly leaves or grass. You ever tried the only leaves or grass diet?

It's another point of view (that actually includes common sense). For anyone believing hum about the ice age, they need to be able to answer the question about what the animals ate. His statements make no sense. I'm entitled to my opinion and I'm as entitled to share them. Read or don't read. You're not required to agree, but we can have different opinions. Especially when there is no proof.

A lot of what I'm pointing out in the article is that Dr Chaffee makes statements without facts to back them up and people just believe him because he's a doctor (and people have been trained to believe doctors are smarter than them). I've provided video evidence and referenced the book 'Fat of the Land' by Vilhjalmur Stefansson when discussing the Inuit and their diet, and when it comes to the ice age, what evidence is there apart from common sense? If there were no plants, what did those huge mammoths eat?

I am NOT a fan at all of the current craze of huge fast food joints looking to cook their fries in tallow. This is completely missing the point. It’s like being in a house on fire and checking the smoke alarms The point we are missing is we should be encouraging people to AVOID huge food corporations that are poisoning us and taking farmers to the cleaners And instead cook their own meals at home using real whole foods. THIS is how they reclaim their health. Not by still eating McDonald’s every day but with “tallow fries” Let’s focus on what’s really important
