i think a lot of inter-queer discourse occurs because yt folk desperately need to feel oppressed to combat their yt guilt and therefore love to play oppression olympics with marginalized groups

Why is everyone out here trying to play oppression olympics

and i don’t think i will. something doesn’t have to seem outwardly homophobic/misogynistic for it to be. i would ofc be open to discussion but i’m aware that it probably won’t be had 💔

this also goes for gay men who refuse to date bi men, straight girls who refuse to date bi men, and bi girls who refuse to date lesbians/bi girls/men. i have yet to find a reason for these strict exclusions not based in misogyny or homophobia
