@hydrangea_cc same with me tbh. i lucked out with being intersex so 50mg spiro and 2mg e was enough for T suppression in like 4-5 weeks and my endo considered keeping me at 2mg e bc 4mg gave me super high levels. obv i didn’t listen but its scary for ppl who have these doctors and aren’t lucky

there’s a reason why they only do this retardation with pills, on injections (in my experience) they’ll start you immediately on the actual dose, which is still lower than normal so DIY is better

they start you on a lower dosage so your body can start regulating itself and get used to the hormones. after some time you’ll start getting your dose upped, idk why so many of y’all’s doctors didn’t explain any of this in the beginning.
