Stockholm is remarkably walkable. At one point we were walking somewhere and we needed to check a map. It was such a relief not to have to think about the phone being stolen. In London we always duck into a doorway before checking a phone on the street.

you're really not missing much anyway, all the nice ones are on the ground floor.

@hydro_capital @ethantgibson They aren’t allowed into many reading rooms or the stacks in Sterling. You have to scan to get to the elevators up. The public can only go to the reading rooms and public area right near the entrance.

i also visited the UW library during a day in seattle, it's easily one of the nicest libraries i've been to. lovely campus too, they even have bowling.

@hydro_capital @ethantgibson Notre Dame as well, Hesburgh is open to the public until 8pm. I don’t get this question in the first place tbh, most uni libraries there’s basically nothing stopping people from going in and hanging out. I worked from the UW library during a long layover in Seattle!
