@mikurubaeahina @Motor1com I think you may have left one of the B-Body’s true strengths off, but given your use case it makes sense: they haul with the exact same driving experience (and fuel economy!) as driving by themselves.

@TakuroSpirit @Mike_M_Klotz As with basically all AT tires, they suck on almost all winter surfaces. Deep, packed snow is about the only place they work okay.

@EightTrck In general it was going downhill, but Covid sealed the deal. The airlines were so desperate for any money at all they abandoned everything worthwhile and then when money had to be made again and people had to fly, they realized they could keep being awful.

What happened to customer service on airlines? Delta gave my seat away on a connecting flight while they were still boarding. Southwest lost my luggage years ago and were just generally rude when I was trying to figure out what to do. United just sucks overall. I hate flying.

@STICKERBXMB The majority of my experience comes from Wagoneers, not RAMs, so maybe that’s the difference. ….aaaand being development vehicles.

@hydrokloric I work on them. They don't necessarily ADD power, but their job is mostly stop/start. When the system's off, not much feels too different, to be honest. Though I can't speak for anything of the 2023 variety as we haven't encountered issues with eTorque on those years.

@STICKERBXMB Start stop is a good selling point though.

@STICKERBXMB Out of curiosity, have you driven one with the system inoperative? It’s a noticeable power loss, especially on the pentastar. Funny enough the regen braking is annoying to me since it can’t be controlled by the brakes. It’s just off throttle.

@STICKERBXMB @Tauss_srgl They boost engine output and add regenerative braking, it’s not only start stop.

@Tauss_srgl Oh, don't get me started on this! I work with them, and the fact that it only, ONLY, provides stop/start function is insane! It's also a pretty expensive OPTION and is a super poor excuse for a hybrid in my opinion.
