Request immediate action on illegal parking on both sides of the road in HUDA Colony, Chanda Nagar, Hyderabad. Despite the government widening the roads, vehicles are still parked illegally, turning the road into a parking spot. Bigger cars and even normal vehicles are struggling to pass daily. A special enforcement drive was conducted at DMRL Junction, Hyderabad City, under the directives of Sri D. Joel Davis, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), and under the supervision of Sri Chandra Kumar, ACP Traffic, Chandrayangutta Zone. The operation was led by Sri Mohammed Asif, Inspector, Traffic PS Santosh Nagar, along with his staff, focusing on curbing the use of mobile phones while driving. During the drive, a total of 08 cases were registered against individuals for using mobile phones while driving, and 12 cases were booked for other traffic violations. The enforcement aimed at addressing risky driving behavior and ensuring adherence to traffic regulations. All violators were counselled regarding the dangers of distracted driving, emphasizing that human life is more valuable than any phone call. They were advised to stop their vehicles safely before attending calls if necessary and were informed about legal consequences, including being produced before the Hon’ble Court. The Santosh Nagar Traffic Police reiterated that such drives will be conducted regularly to enhance road safety and traffic discipline.

If any inconvenience regarding the parking of vehicles in the colonies, please approach the Local Traffic Police, as they will visit the place and find out whether it is inconvenience to others or not then will better judge on the field and resolved the issue.
