Last week, we introduced HyperNest’s evolution into a DeFi Venture Studio. This week, we’re applying that lens to RWA. The first phase of RWA showed that real-world assets could be represented onchain. But representation is not the same as financial utility. The next phase will not be defined by how many assets are tokenized. It will be defined by whether those assets can function as usable financial instruments. That distinction matters. A tokenized treasury product, credit product, repo position, or digital bond may all sit under the RWA umbrella. But they do not share the same users, risk models, legal assumptions, liquidity profiles, or settlement requirements. So the more useful question is no longer only: What has been issued onchain? It is: What can be financed, pledged, redeemed, settled, risk-managed, and reused across workflows? For HyperNest, this is where the Venture Studio lens matters.
