That promise changed the energy in our team overnight. 𝟯. 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗜'𝗱 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻. She heard the missiles and started crying. I looked her in the eyes and told her I had built an invisible atomic shield around our home. Nothing could get through it. She believed me. She slept.
