I've noticed a lot of people claiming that the plot of The Feud is about retrieving an inheritance that's simply addressed to 'Ali'. Weird! What these people are remembering is this Postbag answer from 2009, which is non-canon. Hope that clears things up!

@hypers Maybe indeed. It's just harder to get dev time approved for something if there's little prospect of major uptake, even if it might lead to more user-generated content online - it'd always be competing for time against other potential projects that players want.

@JagexAsh Hey big guy, now that GIM has been out for a little while, do you have any thoughts on the potential of HCUIM?

@JagexAsh You're not wrong re popularity, but I think it'd still be a fun niche gamemode - and niche gamemodes have brought lots of eyes to the game before. Maybe one day?

@hypers I think it'd be fun to see. Very different from the existing UIM, presumably, due to the lack of death piles. Though UIM hasn't exactly been a mass activity, and this harder version of it might well have similarly niche appeal :(
