Cody Harper the 20 years old who was attacked by 3 men and arrested is now due in court. He was taken to Perry Barr police station and left in the cells until the following day. While in there he asked for water and some food which he didn't receive until towards the end of his stay. The police told him he wouldn't be charged for the fight (the one where he was attacked) but he will be charged with assaulting an emergency worker. He will be at Birmingham magistrates court on the 23rd July.

People are barricaded in shops. Others are unable to get down the street. Why? Because this is the “Clapham youth” in London. They have stormed the high street and are looting shops. Does not seem like anyone is being arrested yet. Instead police stand and watch. You can guarantee that if they were a large group of white kids they would be arrested in minutes. This is not the first time they have done this in the last few days. Their behaviour is feral.

A migrant man sexually assaulted a woman in the UK She killed him in self defence She was just 18 years old She is now serving a 17 year prison sentence This is one of the worst examples of how utterly corrupted the criminal justice system is The Judge even admitted she was being sexually assaulted when she defended herself Martyna should be free and living her life, but instead she is rotting away in a UK prison, just because she didn't want to be raped Where is the outrage? Where are the campaigners? Where is Jess Phillips? No where. Why? Because the man who attacked her was a migrant. So they will not say a word

@TRobinsonNewEra I was at the gym this morning and a Muslim man had to leave as he was feeling weak. He pointed out he was fasting (seemingly for sympathy) and blamed it on him not being able to drink water. I sympathised with him as I swigged on my water bottle.

The position is clear from the Electoral Commission guidance and Greater London Authority Act 1999 (s21): a conviction with a 3+ month sentence disqualifies only if it was within the 5 years before polling day. Ant Middleton's 2013 conviction (unlawful wounding + common assault on police officers, 14-month sentence, served 4) is 13+ years old. The next London mayoral election is 2028, so it doesn't bar him. (The Mayor's PCC role uses the same 5-year rule as standard GLA candidates, unlike other PCCs.) Claims he "just can’t" are mistaken.
