@hypnopt Unless you held the stablecoins for less than 365-days. In that case the capital gains of your previous play still need to be paid. Do it with stablecoins you held longer than 365 days.

@cryptaxpt On the other hand, if you're using a different crypto like ETH or BTC and its less than 365 days it makes sense to declare. Am I thinking right then?

@cryptaxpt yeah that's why my question, there's basically no capital gains whatsoever, and if there is it's cents lol. So practically, if we want to use our crypto debit cards always use in stable coins this way the capital/loss gains will be almost non existent and no need to declare.

@hypnopt Hey! Glad the page is helpful to you. Your stablecoins are related to a Fiat on-ramp, so yes you have to report them. If you held longer than 365 days than it’s tax free.

@cypherrrino I'm with you @cypherrrino, for us, UT players is even worse, Epic Games decided to abandon the franchise who made them big, showing pretty much no respect to the series, unfortunately. Everything comes to an end, someday. I've got some stories to tell my kids though :)

@thisisins I never ever understood that and was puzzled by people who thought it was usefull lol. Also gaming mice with 30,0000 dpi but that would skip with quick flicks was funny too.

Remember when gaming hardware companies tried to sell mice with EXTRA WEIGHTS on them so you could intentionally make your mouse heavier? And gamers actually fell for that scam...

Hey Lex, great that you're interviewing @TimSweeneyEpic - truly an outstanding individual. I had the pleasure of being invited to @EpicGames , meeting Tim and playtesting Unreal Tournament 4 when it was under development. Although I understand the reasons why it got cancelled, the @utgame players/community are puzzled about the delisting of previous Unreal games from oficial platforms such as Steam and Epic Games Store. After @TheBlurStudio released @SecretLevelonPV Episode with UT on @PrimeVideo, Epic finally updated this epicgames.com/unrealtourname… letting UT free through archive.org and oldunreal which I'm really thankful. The question still remains though, what's the future of UT and what are their plans to perserve one of the most iconic and influential FPS titles - on par with Doom, Quake, and Half-Life, which are being well perserved through several remasters or new editions. Also, why was this sudden delist on all these platforms while Epic could still be selling those games and make titles such a UT2004 still available for players who want to try their legacy games.

I'll be interviewing some video game designers/builders. Previously, I've spoken with Todd Howard and John Carmack, both people who I'm a big fan of. They are legends! Coming up I'll be chatting with Tim Sweeney, creator of Unreal Engine & Fortnite. If you have recommendations for game desigers/developers to interview, please let me know. I love videos games, they have brought me endless hours of happiness in my life ❤ And I find the engineers and artists who build video games to be amazing, inspiring humans.
