That’s what makes Rhaegar fall in love with her. 2. Elia is pregnant at Harrenhal and gives birth there. Rhaegar crowns Lyanna directly after because he has a dragon dream of Daenerys surrounded by dragons, which transforms into Lyanna. 3. Lyanna is the mystery knight. After reaching the Tower of Joy, Lyanna is much more obsessed with prophecy than Rhaegar. It’s sort of a coping mechanism to explain the murder of her father and brother. Rhaegar is happy living in the Tower of Joy with Lyanna in bliss. He even wards her off prophetic obsessions, claiming it’ll only consume her. 7. Elia corresponds with Lyanna, telling her to see sense and understand that a war caused by love is still madness. Elia has no problem with Rhaegar taking another wife—one for duty and one for love. 8. Ashara Dayne has Brandon Stark’s bastard. She miscarries a baby girl, while in the Red Keep serving as Rhaella’s handmaiden after Elia is imprisoned. More on the way!
