@tomhillenbrand We have had this spelled out for the past decade. You own your data. Our text processing features, like Style Check, are intentionally designed with your privacy in mind, and always run on your device.

Super confident about @ScrivenerApp, wouldn’t use Word or Google Docs anyway. But what about @iAWriter , @Bear, @NotionHQ, Omni and many others? We need this spelled out by these companies, we need lawyers to look at their ToS. If anyone siphons of anything, we need to know.

Visual artists up in arms because of Adobe’s ToS, but anyone producing text based works (literature, science, law) REALLY needs to reconsider their writing tool choices as well. These AI fuckers will likely steal your shit before you’re half through with 1st draft.

Hey folks at @iAWriter 👋🏻. Any chance you would look into adding a shortcut for note switching? Something like `Ctrl+P` for VS Code. As I'm using it for shorter notes and switch between them more frequently, I'd really appreciate. Switching away from iA Writer isn't an option 🙂

@iAWriter I have a very long book with many images linked from my blog. Problem is, when I export in docx, no image is displayed (while PDF is fine). It seems that only images from library and not from web is displayed in docx export. This is really annoying. Any workaround?
