Next.js just got its worst vulnerability ever, CVSS 8.6. → affects versions 13.4.13+, 14.x, 15.x, and 16.0.0–16.2.4 → attackers can access your internal services, cloud credentials, API keys, and admin panels → no authentication needed → one crafted request is all it takes → roughly 79,000 instances are exploitable right now → vercel-hosted apps are safe, self-hosted are not upgrade to 15.5.16 or 16.2.5 immediately.

I became a Senior Engineer and my code got worse. Happens all the time. Climbing the ladder kills your edge. Titles breed complacency. You stop grinding basics. Stop shipping fast. Stop fearing failure. Real seniority? It's invisible. Code that scales. Teams that trust you. Products that win. Stop chasing badges. Build like no one's watching.

“Works perfectly in dev. Breaks after APK build Classic Android moment. Spent hours debugging why image/document picker stopped working inside the profile flow. Root cause? The overlay screen was still active while launching the picker. One small UI layer. Entire upload flow broken. Fixed it by closing the ProfileSlider before opening: Image Picker Document Picker Now everything works properly in production. Most mobile bugs aren’t “complex”. They’re hidden inside UI state + lifecycle timing.

AI didn’t replace engineers. It exposed fake builders. Copy-pasting prompts is easy. Building systems that scale is not. Most AI-generated startups look impressive for 7 days. Then reality hits: bugs, latency, security, edge cases, user retention. Real engineering starts where the demo ends. The founders winning right now aren’t the loudest on X. They’re the ones quietly shipping, fixing, learning, and staying alive long enough to compound. AI is a multiplier. Not a substitute for skill.

I have nothing against vibe coding. 😡 Build fast. Ship quick. I respect it. Problem starts when non-technical founders build an entire app with AI… AI can help you write code faster. But it doesn’t magically give you engineering judgment. And that’s the part most people underestimate.

18-year-old American girl made $10,000 in a single month from YouTube videos created almost entirely with ChatGPT 5.5. No studio. No editing team. Just a $20 subscription, an old laptop, and a system most people ignore. She finds kids channels pulling millions of views and studies the structure — not the content. ChatGPT rewrites the scripts. PixArt Flow with Sora 2 generates the visuals. ElevenLabs creates the voiceovers. 20 minutes later: A fully-produced video built around a proven viral formula. Kids content pays some of the highest CPMs on YouTube: $4,000–15,000 per million views. Then she stacked TikTok Shop on top. AI analyzes products in seconds, writes multiple hooks instantly, and creates content for 5 platforms at once. Month 1: $3,000 Month 6: $7,000 Year 1: $17,000/month The most expensive camera in the world is the one you never turned on.

Anthropic just committed to spending $200 BILLION on Google Cloud and AI chips over the next 5 years. That’s not a startup budget anymore. That’s nation-scale infrastructure spending. The AI war is no longer about chatbots. It’s about who controls compute, chips, cloud and power. Google’s TPUs are becoming the backbone of next-gen AI models like Claude. And Anthropic is betting everything on scale. Meanwhile: • OpenAI is locking in massive cloud deals • Amazon is building AI infrastructure at record speed • Microsoft keeps pouring billions into AI compute AI companies are now spending more on servers than some countries spend on infrastructure. theinformation.com/articles/anthr…

Building custom map interactions in React Native gets really interesting when you stop using default pins A developer asked how to get the exact GPS coordinates (lat/lng) of a custom fixed-position marker overlay built with `react-native-maps`. Instead of placing a `` directly on the map, they used an absolutely positioned `` as the marker UI: The challenge: Convert the screen position of that fixed marker (like the bottom-left corner) into real geographic coordinates. This is where `react-native-maps` methods like `coordinateForPoint()` become powerful — letting you map screen pixels to actual lat/lng values dynamically while the map moves. A super useful technique for: • Ride-booking apps • Delivery tracking • Drag-to-select location UX • Real estate & travel apps • Custom animated map markers #ReactNative #ReactJS #MobileDevelopment #GoogleMaps #JavaScript #FullStackDeveloper #OpenSource #AppDevelopment

A woman is making $15.4k/month with just a laptop, Claude AI, and a 130-line Python script. No camera. No team. No editing. She gives AI one topic → Claude writes → ElevenLabs voices → CapCut edits → auto-posting handles YouTube, TikTok & Instagram while she sleeps. One video = 8 income streams. Only 4 hours of work per week.
