Had a really sad conversation with this lady today. I know we humans tend to tell stories through the lens of self-preservation, but still… I wonder how things get so bad that you become so unkind to your spouse to the point of not speaking to or touching them for months.

This. I never really understood death till this year.
I’ve seen lots of patients pass but still, it was more like a foreign concept to me.

I don't think we understand what a big deal "DEATH" is untill it happens to someone we are close to & care about. When the realization of the absolute permanence hits you & you see how helpless you are and can't reverse it. You then know indeed you're just mortal.

@iBallad_ It’s actually Nigeria that’s the problem. Because by the time the case gets to you, you’re in an hourly battle to keep the patient alive for something that is usually very preventable
