@canadaposthelps I'm trying to find the current rate for a regular letter from Canada to Europe (international "standard" letter/card). The "Postage stamp rates" page shows $2.71, but using the "Find a rate" tool returns that PLUS tax, total of $3.06. Confusing! Which one is it?

As of 2023, foam food containers and plastic shopping bags will be no more in the @cityofguelph. At 8:10 @CBCKW891, we hear more on the city’s decision to phase out single use plastics and how initiatives like this could open the door for more innovative alternatives.

@checkupcbc If this were happening in Europe (democracies), we'd see police use water cannons/tear gas. Does the Ottawa police not have the means for that? Are there democratic/legal or logistical reasons (just don't have such equipment), or health&safety reasons not 2 use those?
