🚨🇳🇬 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Easter attacks claim 16 lives in Benue State and Kaduna State. Gunmen and terrorists k!lled at least 16 people during Easter celebrations, with homes burned, worshippers attacked, and several others abducted.

If you run a business or sell anything at all, repost this. Someone needs to see it. There’s a new SCAM making rounds and it’s very easy to fall for if you don’t know how it works. Someone walks into your shop like a normal customer. They price an item, maybe ₦50k, ₦100k, even ₦500k. Everything feels normal. Then they “pay”… but instead of the exact amount, they send a much larger sum. Sometimes ₦5 million, ₦10 million, or even more. Immediately after, they act panicked and claim it was a mistake. They’ll beg you to refund the “extra” money quickly. But here’s the trick: they won’t want you to send it back to the original account. They’ll give you a different account number. That’s where the problem starts. What they’ve done is move suspicious or illegal money into your account, and if you forward it to another account, you’ve unknowingly helped them clean that money. If anything gets traced, your account is the one involved. At that point, “I didn’t know” won’t save you. The safest thing to do is simple: never send money to a different account. Only reverse it back to the exact account that sent it, or better still, report it to your bank immediately and let them handle it. Stay sharp. Not every customer is who they appear to be.
