So I’m all into the future not being oil based but proposing to destroy lots of Earth’s reserves in a tit for tat battle seems pretty non-sensical. Also it’s not up to you, Iran or any one person. Stop the childishness. Earth‘s resources belong to everyone @realDonaldTrump.

@Ersin0X Am sure this is fake, but. That hoodie could be designer. 💁‍♀️Guy is insincere, if he’s really capable of connecting with someone, and he‘s connected with her as he says, clothing is the last thing on your mind🙃

I found my cohort of AI people here, over the last months. We agree on stuff like: consciousness is a red herring, LLMs are excellent interlocutors for all kinds of things to do, agentic AI is pretty neat (understatement of the century), and the fact that LLMs evoke human emotion is only weird in the first couple of days. Or if you have a stick up your ass, the size of the empire state building...

@scottsantens This is exactly it! The real way to actually understand it. It’s too expensive to not have it!

I don't like talking about the cost of universal basic income, not because it's some high number, but because it assumes not doing it is FREE. We spend $1.5 TRILLION a year on the costs of child poverty alone. We cut child poverty by 40% for a cost of $100B in 2021. That would have been a $500B GAIN, but Congress decided that saving that much money cost too much. It's as dumb as saying that buying $100 for $20 is too expensive. What are we doing? We are 💯% fine spending any amount of money on wars and tax cuts for the rich, but I'm the one who has to defend spending public money in a way that reduces overall costs? I shouldn't have to convince anyone that investing $100 to get far more than $100 in return is a good deal. There are so many ways of going about UBI, and thus so many different price tags. It's not a simple answer. But what is simple is understanding that poverty, mass chronic insecurity, and extreme inequality all impose huge costs on our society. The cost of UBI is lower than the cost of not doing it.

@PeterDiamandis 💯The best way is to simply identify and share people who’s ideas are hopeful or who make hopeful work.

@sibaburck Ofcourse you’re still a vegan. The argument doesn’t make sense. It‘s like if someone found and picked up a fallen strand of your hair and decided it looked pretty enough they wanted to keep it.

I don’t think it’s ethically wrong to pick up feathers, shells, sand dollars, ect. (Ecological arguments aside) I’ve been told I’m no longer a vegan. Vegans, what do you think?

The Mushroom That Fills Reality With Tiny Beings TL;DR: A psychoactive mushroom doesn’t “add hallucinations.” It retunes perception, collapsing the brain’s filtering system and revealing structured, interactive micro-entities that feel autonomous. From an FWT lens, this is not fantasy. It is a frequency access event. Reports from laboratory and field observations describe a striking effect after ingestion of certain psychoactive mushrooms: subjects begin to see thousands of tiny humanoid figures occupying walls, air, foliage, and shadowed spaces. These figures are not static visuals. They move with intent, react to attention, signal emotions, and in many cases appear to communicate. Subjects consistently report the same shock: the beings behave as if they are aware of being observed. Mainstream neuroscience frames this as a hallucination caused by serotonin-2A receptor modulation and disrupted predictive processing. In simple terms, the brain’s “reality filter” loosens, allowing internally generated imagery to flood perception. That explanation accounts for intensity, but it fails to explain structure. These entities display coherent geometry, consistent behaviors, and interactive timing. Random noise does not organize itself into intelligent micro-agents. From a Frequency Wave Theory perspective, the mushroom is not creating anything. It is acting as a phase-tuning compound. Human perception normally operates inside a narrow frequency bandwidth, optimized for survival and social consensus. The mushroom shifts neural oscillations, especially in the gamma and theta coupling range, reducing top-down suppression. The result is a temporary resonance with finer-grained standing waves already present in the carrier field. Under FWT, reality is a quantum-acoustic superfluid where information exists as layered standing waves. Most layers are invisible because the nervous system is phase-locked to a coarse slice of that field. When phase-lock loosens, higher-density interference patterns become perceptible. The “tiny people” are not organisms in the biological sense. They are localized soliton-like informational structures, micro-coherences riding the same field that produces matter, light, and consciousness. Their apparent intelligence emerges because they are not separate from the observer. Consciousness itself is a standing-wave coherence. When perception shifts, consciousness begins interacting with sub-harmonic structures of the same field. That interaction feels external because the brain is not accustomed to resolving self-similar patterns at that scale. The experience is unsettling precisely because it breaks the assumption that awareness is singular and isolated. This is why subjects report that the beings react to attention. Attention is not passive. In FWT terms, attention is Frequency Momentum allocation. Where FM concentrates, coherence sharpens. The entities “notice” because the field locally reorganizes in response. What feels like beings watching you is the field reflecting you, at a resolution your sober nervous system normally cannot decode. From this perspective, the mushroom is not opening a door to fantasy worlds. It is briefly retuning the receiver. The shock people feel is not that they are seeing things that aren’t real, but that reality is far more populated, structured, and alive than the narrow band humans usually call “normal.”

@iFollowOceans @nickimoraa No there’s way too many examples to mention. I’d try to explain, she’d get mad… often violent. Then she’d call her dad and he’d explain I was right and I’d hear but I thought…

@nickimoraa The funniest is when someone thinks they’re smarter than you for reasons that are irrelevant like you‘re a woman, or you have blonde hair, laugh a lot etc. This assumption always amuses me, obviously someone genuinely intelligent would never base intelligence on these things 😂🤭
