We fucked this space all together. I strongly believe that we won’t see the hype of 2022 ever again. At least not for 3-4 years. What we did? First, they eliminated the royalties of the collections, made a lot of small / free mint projects die. Go and check Opensea’s rankings and check all floor prices of top 500 NFT projects (according to the volume created) 🤷🏼‍♀️ You’ll be surprised :) What else we did? We onboarded more and more people who are thirsty for money. Who can do everything for money. They either flipped all projects immediately, fud projects that didn’t make them money or became a scammer. What else? We call EVERYONE a scammer. Yes. Even the good ones became “grifters” for no reason as we love spreading the hate. I can count maybe 5-10 influencers right now who didn’t get a “scammer” nickname. Almost all of them are the ones who are early and already rich, so they didn’t do anything extreme to earn money. Besides, there are still new influencers, who are not yet scammers, getting presale of tokens and making huge bags. They’re not scammers yet. Most of them will use their following to earn money though. This is the way of it. I see / catch many of them doing this behind the curtains. You’ll hear it soon or later. Your prestige doesn’t make money. They are not creating their content for “nothing” We are all here to make money. Almost all people who come to this space are here for money as well. Not for community, not for GMs. Sorry but GMs are not paying anyone’s bills. Let’s be real 🤷🏼‍♀️ This is how we all marketed NFT space though. Innovative, community, friends! Don’t make any money for a year in this space and let’s talk again. Overall, this space is money driven. Almost 95% of the time. The rest is nice people, friendships, having fun etc. We are all a part of this scheme, me too. There’s nothing wrong. But tbh I totally understand why people like Ben, doing all these. People want to earn money and get the fuck out of this space and live their lives. That’s all. Is this a good way? No. I don’t think so. And tbh every single amount of money we make from this space is somehow “off of others” :) Whether it’s trading or collabs or founding a project or launching a coin. I never tweeted such a thing before. Never talked about my real perspective about this space. But that’s all. Let’s be real. That’s why I am not tweeting a lot for the last 1 month. I know this is not sustainable. I never think of scamming people in my life. NEVER. Still, I faced w a lot of hate no matter what. Now I am thinking, does it really worth being nice? Or fuck everyone, make your money and leave? Just as a lot of people are doing without saying anything :) Good luck to you, good luck to the new comers, good luck to everyone. Nothing is perfect in this world but I wish we could stay like 2021. It was super nice and exciting. I don’t feel like that anymore. Love y’all. Idk why I write such a long tweet but fuck it.
