@LupovisDefence @HMRCcustomers @HMRCgovuk After getting stung for the first time today the first thing I did with the second advisor was confirm my number and ensured they would call me back (they said they would). Never got the callback.
English

@iJackWilson @HMRCcustomers @HMRCgovuk This is just bad service! When, nowadays they can just do a call back when a line becomes available.
English

@HMRCcustomers @HMRCgovuk just got an unexpected 4-figure tax bill. I can't do a live chat because it relates to PAYE so I spent 47 minutes on hold only for a robot to say "thanks for your call. goodbye" and hang up on me.
How is that an acceptable level of service?
English

@HMRCcustomers my call got dropped AGAIN. Is this some sort of joke? I've wasted nearly 3 hours and got nowhere
English

Another day running the @HMRCcustomers gauntlet. Sat on hold for 30+ minutes, finally got through to an advisor.
Mid-sentence, a robot interrupts the advisor with "thanks for calling. goodbye" and ends the call.

@HMRCcustomers @HMRCgovuk Why do you let customers sit on hold for 45 minutes only to hang up on them?
English

@iJackWilson @HMRCgovuk We are told the lines tend to be less busy before 10am and between 5pm and 6pm. Shoaib

@HMRCcustomers @HMRCgovuk What if I wait for another 45+ minutes only to get hung up on again by a robot?
English

@HMRCcustomers @HMRCgovuk Yes, the calculation makes absolutely no sense either. That's why I'm trying to call to clarify.
English

@iJackWilson @HMRCgovuk @iJackWilson Morning Jack,
Apologies to hear this.
The calculation should provide you with a reasons for the underpayment, have you checked this?

It’s pretty simple: Google Meet (original) was previously Meet, which was the rebranded Hangouts Meet. Meet has been merged with Google Duo, which replaced Google Hangouts. Google Duo has been renamed Meet, and Meet has been temporarily named Google Meet (original), for clarity

@cybergibbons @cyclegaz @sexandtheswiss @Tradescant I’m fairly happy with a Topeak escape pod in a bottle cage. The medium takes 2x 38c tubes and levers. In hindsight I would have went for the large. A (very) small pump is also mounted under one of the bottle cages.
Works well since this bike has 3x bottle cage mounts

English

@cyclegaz @sexandtheswiss @Tradescant Still not found a good alternative though. All of them look messy and keeping tools in your back pouches is asking for serious injury when you come off.
English

@cossiecol That’s insane! I pay £580/year but that’s for two (carbon) bikes with a fairly significant total value
English

@cossiecol I’ve used Wiggle’s bike insurance for years, including a claim. Can’t fault it, but I’m not sure how it compares to your budget
English

@_mormaid You can tell how much of a state it's in by the number of open PRs on the repo: github.com/robchahin/sso-…

@alexbloor There are a couple of narrowings like that near me. Work well for speed reduction and stopping HGVs “rat running” down residential streets. Much easier to gauge your position going through when going slower (<5mph) which didn’t seem the case for most in original video.
