I get that not knowing anything gets you clicks on here, but the strait of Hormuz is a natural waterway covered by the rules of international waterways. The Panama & Suez canals, are man made canals so you can legally toll them. Iran doesn't toll Hormuz because they don't own it

Iran has kept the Straight of Hormuz toll-free for decades despite being vilified, sanctioned, and Isolated. Egypt charges $300,000 – $700,000+ per transit through the Suez Canal. Ultra-large container ships or tankers can exceed $1 million. Panama charges $150,000 – $450,000 per transit. Large Neopanamax ships cost up to $500,000+ to pass the Panama Canal. Turkey charges fees for the Bosporus Strait. Canada charges fees for the St Lawrence Seaway. The United States charges for the St Lawrence Seaway. But Iran is a bad country.

Gujarat focuses on fiber (cotton production) & Maharashtra on fashion (Mumbai headquarters), Tamil Nadu focused on the full stack.
In cities like Tiruppur & Coimbatore, we can find a 10km radius that contains every single step: ginning, spinning, weaving, dyeing, & retail packing.
This reduces logistics friction. A t-shirt in TN travels less than 50km from raw cotton to a finished box. In other states, the fabric often travels 100s of kms b/w specialized hubs.

Anyone still chewing gum? That chewy part that never gets smaller is a plastic polymer. That same polymer can also be found in plastic bags, glue and tires. A 2025 UCLA has shown that chewing gum releases hundreds to thousands of microplastics into your saliva per piece. I highly recommend you stop chewing plastic.

The reality is even more ridiculous than the headline. The whole reason for this bridge is so that a handful of isolated and extremely inbred mountain lions in the Malibu area can breed with normal mountain lions on the other side of the freeway to diversify their genetics.
One of these inbred mountain lions killed my dog in my backyard on a college campus in 2022. The National Park Service had a tracking collar on the animal and knew where it was at all times. They didn’t give any warning to the college or anyone else. After this happened, they only admitted it was their animal after a reporter questioned them.
The animal was so inbred that its father was also its grandfather, and then it mated with its father/grandfather.
Mountain lions are not endangered in California in the slightest. There are actually too many of them in this area, causing them to kill each other over territory.
The NPS catches all these animals every few years to replace the batteries in their tracking collars. They could literally just drive them to the other side of the freeway in a pickup.
The mountain lion that killed my dog was hit by a car and killed a few months later. What a waste.

Whats really Ironic about the Kathy Hochul Begging for Millionaires to come back to NYC is that in her Victory Speech after she defeated Lee Zeldin in 2022 she told people that didn't like her Policies to "Get Out of Here, We Don't Need You Here" And they did...and it turns out yes you did need them there..
