@Tier1athlete I think it’s impossible to time everything. But there should be weekly timing on something. It’ll help tell you progression, is the athlete tired, how consistent they are. Etc.

Speed development is still sprinting. Don't need to time it. Track coaches are not timing every single sprint.
Many say you must record, rank & time. That is false.
