Whenever I travel by flight, I usually order coffee to avoid feeling sleepy. But yesterday, something strange happened. I ordered a coffee, and the air hostess asked, “Which munchies would you like with it?” I said, “Just coffee is fine.” But she replied, “You can’t order only coffee, you have to take some munchies with it.” I was surprised. Since when did ordering a simple coffee require a compulsory side snack too? Is this something new I am not aware of?

A railway staff member allegedly tried to sit on another passenger’s reserved seat inside a train from Mumbai to Amritsar. When the actual seat owner refused to give up the seat, the staff member reportedly said, “This is my train… I work for the Railways. How can you stop me from sitting here?” After the argument escalated, he allegedly pulled the emergency chain and declared, “The train will not move until you allow me to sit.” Soon, the RPF arrived at the spot. But instead of taking action against the chain pulling, the situation reportedly took a different turn. The staff member introduced himself, the chain was fixed, the train was allowed to move again… and he eventually sat on the same seat. What shocked many people even more was what happened next. The staff member allegedly looked at the passenger and said, “Now say something.” The passenger stayed silent… probably because even the authorities present did not object. According to railway rules, unnecessary chain pulling can lead to penalties and strict action. That’s why many people online are now questioning whether power and position should be used like this against ordinary passengers. What do you think? Today, while celebrating a birthday party with my friends, my entire bank account got emptied! I had planned the whole event thinking it would cost around ₹20,000–₹25,000. But this hotel completely blew my budget away. Before we started eating, the restaurant manager asked me how many people were there. I told him we were 16 people. He initially estimated that the food bill would be around ₹30,000–₹35,000, so I felt relaxed and went ahead with the party. But when the final bill arrived, I was shocked it was ₹56,000! When I spoke to the manager about it, he explained that many of the dishes we ordered were “premium” and very expensive. I politely asked, “Sir, can I get some discount?” But the manager replied rudely, “This is not a village dhaba where you will get a discount!” At that point, I had no option except to pay the full amount. Now you tell me can food for 16 people really cost this much?

His name is Samarth Singh. He is the husband of Twisha Sharma, the 33 year old former Miss Pune and actress who was found dead at her marital home in Katara Hills, Bhopal on May 12 2026. Samarth Singh has now been arrested. He was brought to Bhopal in the early hours of May 23 after surrendering before a court in Jabalpur. Police had been searching for him for more than ten days after an FIR was registered against him and his mother in connection with Twisha Sharma’s death. Samarth Singh is the lawyer son of Giribala Singh, a retired judge and current Chairperson of the Bhopal District Consumer Forum. His mother obtained anticipatory bail. Samarth Singh withdrew his own anticipatory bail plea in the Madhya Pradesh High Court before surrendering. The Bhopal Police Commissioner confirmed the arrest. Police have sought custodial remand as the SIT investigation continues. Twisha Sharma was found dead at her marital home on May 12. Her family has alleged sustained dowry harassment and forced pregnancy termination. According to her family, one of her final messages to a friend read, “I’m trapped.” Her in laws maintain that she died by suicide. The postmortem reportedly noted ligature marks on her neck along with additional injuries. The family’s request for a second postmortem at AIIMS Delhi remains pending. The accused is now in custody.
