One of my greatest experiences of my life was performing Art on Broadway with George Segal and Buck Henry. We’d go to the green room after the play and post-mortem that night’s show and I’d go to the newsstand to get George a secret pack of Galloises.

I remember watching Stiller & Meara as a kid on Ed Sullivan, loving them. Then to work with Jerry, a kind, brilliant comedian who had no idea how great he was. What an honor! He was a giant!

Two of my favorite theatrical jobs were shared with Buck Henry. One was the film “To Die For” which he wrote and “Art” on Broadway in which he co-starred with George Segal. Being in his presence was magical and unforgettable! We are now a less interesting place.

A beautiful woman, a wonderful actress, a great friend and with balls bigger than mine. Her brilliance burst through and shined its light upon all of us. Goodnight beautiful. I’ll see you soon.
