@GabbbarSingh Planning a Coorg wilderness resort trip for 3 days with wife and little one. Will let you know.
English

We plan a break every quarter. Usually coincides with a birthday or an anniversary. Invariably it’s a location abroad, either to visit relatives or pure tourism. We are able bodied, the school isn’t as strict during the KG days, so why not use this leverage to see the world. But the war and the govt appeal to cut down on travel, has thrown a spanner in the works. We were planning Italy, but now where to go in India, especially in this heat. It always ends up being Goa. It’s just muscle memory.
Which locations/property you have visited recently in India, and found it to be worthy replacement of a trip abroad?
English

@GabbbarSingh @chiragbarjatya Do exactly this.. barely 200 300 rs for withdrawing FCY from ATMs and max 500rs day international roaming.. and invaluable peace of mind
English

@chiragbarjatya I use my debit card. Go to ATM withdraw money. Swipe card where it’s available. The gymnastics people do is not worth to save a few pennies. Also 1599 for International roaming. Chill karo. You have earned it

Can some marketing expert explain why @JioHotstar only shows its own content ads rather than commercial TV ads? @grok any idea? #ICCT20WORLDCUP

Truly my dream home. Hands down the finest private property I’ve ever visited in the Kullu–Manali region.
Built entirely by someone I know no architect, no templates just a design shaped purely by personal vision and needs.
Surrounded by a vast, beautiful orchard and nestled right in the heart of it, the house feels unreal.
Pictures honestly don’t do justice to the magic of this place! ❤️

Most people in India think that living abroad is hyper costly. Honestly, it is not.
If you live in places like Thailand, Vietnam, Georgia, some parts in Eastern Europe-- these would be at least 20-30% cheaper than Indian Metros, with at least 3X better quality food, air, etc.
A lot of these opportunities were opening up for Indians in the last few years. And, things were going well.
Now the problem is that bhakts can't move abroad.
Not because they don't want to. But, because no one will take them.
I am saying this in the nicest way possible. I don't mean to offend them.
So they run twitter diplomacy campaigns. Right from bashing Switzerland to Korea, they will leave no one.
And, ruin opportunities for Indians who actually have the skills to leave & wish to live a better life.
This is a fact that is less spoken about.
But, should be spoken.

Please suggest a car.
Mostly city driving, once in two months on highway. Monthly average 800 km.
Needs: Good boot space, good ground clearance, safety, 5/7 seater.
Budget up to 25L (max).
Need suggestion on fuel too. Petrol but worries about E27, or Diesel and worries about DPF and Isobutanol.
Not buying immediately. Can wait up to 6 months in case any upcoming car is better.

@muglikar_ Bhai don’t stress.. his obsession with India or rather dissing India is unbound.. especially since he left India.. borderline jilted stalkeresque.

Akshat ji
With my limited understanding of GST laws (not an expert like you) I would like to remind you about Anti Profiteering Clauses which prevent this.
If you or anyone thinks these provisions “do not work” in real, I urge you to break them and find out. You will experience classic FAFO.
Secondly: assume these laws don’t work then basic economics will tell you that the firm which doesn’t pass on reduced cost to customer will lose out to the one passing on the reduction coz their prices will be lower.
Your thought process and overall understanding is not the issue here, issue is the 550 ppl who have RT’d such great insight and believe it to be true.
God save our country. 😇

When GST is increased: the firms pass on the base price + GST increase on the customers. When GST is reduced: the firms will increase the base price + add the reduced GST & customers will pay the same price.
