@shelton132 @markmartin Personally, I would argue that ALL athletes (and celebrities in general) are OVERpaid. Not necessarily relative to their particular sports or expenses. I just think our priorities as a society are skewed. But that is, like I said, a society issue. Not a NASCAR issue. Just MHO.

@markmartin Nascar drivers are underpaid. Take, for example, the NFL, NBA, and other sports typically play six months a year, whereas NASCAR drivers race eight plus months. The drivers don’t have a union. They are contract employees and pay all their own expenses, insurance etc.
