“You have no light at the airport, and I have to fly back within the next 10 minutes. To the victims, there's nothing I can give you, whether it's money in millions, but console you and promise you that this experience will not repeat itself." — Tinubu tells bereaved families in Jos.

I have read about the court-ordered detention of an individual known as B-Lord, and I must say this clearly that no one should celebrate the incarceration of any person under the color of law. I have reached out to my astute rights lawyer, Marshal D F Abubakar, urging him to disengage from the process. We must all agree that sending B-Lord to prison is not a victory for legal brilliance or advocacy. Rather, it risks emboldening a system of oppression that weaponizes the law against citizens. Justice must never be reduced to punishment for its own sake. I will work to ensure this case is discontinued and B-Lord is released without further delay.

I remembered last year I got a message from @AkiangLoveth about a 6yrs old girl that was brutally sexually assaulted by a 31yrs old Hausa man and the elder brother of the rapist is conniving with the police to beg the girl’s grandparents to forgive and sweep the case under the carpet. I swung into action by first visiting the police station and after introducing myself and telling them the agency i work for I told them I want the case transferred from the station to the Gender unit at Ikeja, they had already been an agreement with the rapist brother and some elderly people in the area to pacify the grandparents because the pedophile elder brother is a well to do Fulani man and very popular too and the police are aware of this whole situation and seeing me coming to Disrupt such agreement they started flaring at me that “what’s my business there since the grandparent of the victim have already agreed to let the matter go” but I wasn’t deterred and stood my ground, the police tried to use delay tactics like no fuel in their vehicle but I booked an uber and we all went to the Gender unit. The victim giving her statements sent cold chills to my body cos of the horrible circumstances the pedophile put her through, she said after luring her into their shop,he pinned her down and place a cloth to her mouth, tied her waist very tight and use his useless genitalia to force him into her, when the brother of the pedophile came to meet me at the gender unit and started offering bribes which I refused,he upped it to 5m naira and I rejected it and told him I’ve it recorded of him bribing me, seeing the bribe wouldn’t work then I started receiving calls from some baale & chairman telling me to step away from the case but I refused because I have a personal conviction that pedophiles are to be eradicated from the society and the matter went to court,he was reprimanded by the magistrate court and the following month it was handed over to the high court where he was sentenced to 20yrs imprisonment. I had so many spiritual attack after the useless man was sentenced that I was so sick and bedridden but the greater power of God in me prevailed and I was back in my feet at no time.

When will Africans finally outgrow this embarrassing and childish tourist syndrome? An African flies to a European country, sees a shiny building or a fancy train, whips out their phone, and immediately runs to social media to cry, "When will our country have this?!" SPOILER ALERT : those train rides are not free. They are directly subsidized by the missing wealth and uncollected taxes of the developing world. Truth is that, while the rest of Europe was tripping over themselves to aggressively extract African resources by sending gunboats, missionaries, and colonial administrators to do their dirty work, Luxembourg was playing 3D chess. They did not need to get their hands bloody or dirty. Instead, they quietly positioned themselves as the ultimate offshore tollbooth for the wealth being plundered from the Global South. Here is how their white-collar criminal network operates: A massive multinational conglomerate digs up copper in Zambia, pumps crude in Nigeria, or mines cobalt in the DRC Congo. By any standard of fairness, the immense wealth generated from those resources should be taxed locally to build the exact same roads, schools, and train networks we keep drooling over. But the global financial system is rigged. Instead of paying their fair share, that corporation sets up a shell company and often literally just a dusty P.O. Box in Luxembourg. And then through the dark arts of corporate accounting known as "profit shifting" and "transfer pricing," the company manipulates its books. The African subsidiary, the one doing the actual extraction, magically records zero profit. Meanwhile, the Luxembourg P.O. Box records billions. Africa gets the environmental degradation, the exploited labor, and a depleted national treasury. Luxembourg gets the capital. Now, Luxembourg taxes these phantom P.O. boxes just enough to make it look legitimate, pulling in about 5% of their GDP. But that’s just the cover charge. When you factor in the massive ecosystem built to service this racket, the armies of corporate lawyers, wealth managers, auditors, and bankers designing these tax-dodging schemes, it accounts for a staggering 30% of Luxembourg’s entire GDP. Put the math together, and you realize that nearly 40% of their national wealth is a monument to laundered money. It is the most flawlessly executed heist in modern history. They managed to siphon the wealth of a continent without firing a single bullet or toppling a single regime.

All buses, trains, and trams are free in this country. For everyone! Luxembourg is unreal. When will your country have this?

I have postponed my trip to Iperu, Ogun State. My first duty at this moment is to stand with the people of Plateau. I will be in Jos to commiserate with families who have lost loved ones and to reaffirm that those who seek to spread fear will not prevail. We will continue to strengthen our security response and ensure that justice is done. From Plateau, I will proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday, and then continue with scheduled engagements in Ogun, Lagos, and Bayelsa focused on infrastructure, trade, and economic growth. In moments of grief, we must stand together. In moments of progress, we must keep building. The work continues. Nigeria First. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President

Update regarding Abba, the NYSC corps member who was abducted. Despite the family paying ₦10 million and two motorcycles to the bandits, they still refused to release him. Instead, they demanded an additional motorcycle and ₦3 million, bringing the new demand to ₦5 million. Having exhausted everything they had, Abba’s family decided to let go, as they could no longer meet the bandits’ demands. After a period of no contact, the abductors suddenly called and handed the phone to Abba. While speaking with his aunt, his desperate pleas for rescue moved them with pity. Determined to save him, the family decided to sought further help. With the generous support of someone who donated nearly ₦2 million, they contacted the bandits again, explaining that they had sold everything and received all possible assistance. The bandits then reduced the ransom to ₦4.5 million, and later to ₦3.5 million. They also agreed that the family should provide the cash equivalent of the motorcycle instead. Arrangements were made for his release today. The bandits initially demanded ₦100,000 worth of airtime, but after the family pleaded that they had nothing left, the abductors waived that requirement. Praise be to the Lord. Alhamdulillah! After this long and painful ordeal, Abba has finally been released. He has been taken to hospital for treatments. Abba’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all Nigerians who supported them in any way, through prayers, donations, or any form of assistance. May the Lord be pleased with you all.

Update on Abba, the NYSC corps member who was abducted. His friend, @gwaska_dsd cashed the money that was gotten and delivered the ransom money to his family yesterday morning. The family communicated with the bandits, who said they were busy and would call later that night to provide the location, time, and instructions for receiving the money. Unfortunately, they didn’t call early. Later, they sent a voice note reassuring the family that they would keep their promise and release him as soon as they received the money. They also warned the family to keep their own promise and not make any changes. Today, the family travelled to a nearby village and stayed there to be closer to the bandits’ area, since network coverage is very poor there , it’s hard to reach them, and they usually have to initiate contact. Whenever they can’t get through, they send voice notes on WhatsApp. Abba’s aunt was the one who took the money to the bandits’ location. She hired a motorcycle (okada) from the roadside. The rider took her directly to where the bandits were. Upon arrival, she realised she hadn’t brought money to pay the bike man. One of the bandits asked if she had paid him; when she said no, he reached into the ransom, removed a bundle, and handed it to the rider. After the exchange, they told her to go and wait by the roadside, saying Abba would be brought there. She left immediately. On their way out, the bike man drove at a very high speed. He explained that if he didn’t speed away quickly, the bandits might change their minds and take both of them. He added that they could even kill them and nothing would happen. The bike man further revealed that that particular roadside is a common spot where people are kidnapped. He said he was present when Abba was abducted and that such incidents happen frequently in the area. He told Abba’s aunt that his job, and that of other bikers there, is to carry people bringing ransom money into the forest to meet the kidnappers. The aunt did not get to see Abba in person; they only spoke briefly on the phone. He even asked about his mother’s health, as she has been admitted to the hospital. She said the person she spoke to was well dressed, you’d know he doesn’t stay there in the forest just by seeing him. After waiting for some time, the bandits called her again and instructed her to board a vehicle and go home. They said they would not release Abba until three additional motorcycles were added to the ransom. She has now returned home. The family is hoping the abductors will call back and reduce the demand for the extra motorcycles. Please note: Abba’s family is not soliciting any further donations. This update is shared so the general public can understand the current situation and what the family is going through.
