In 1988, while recovering from injuries sustained in a car bomb attack in Mozambique, he established the South African Constitutional Studies Centre at the @ICwS_SAS. There, he worked on ideas that helped shape South Africa’s post-apartheid Constitution, widely regarded as one of the most progressive in the world. Known for his defiant optimism, Albie will share personal experience of overcoming adversity and finally, will offer a few anecdotal memories of his time at the @ICwS_SAS.
