It works best inside a stack or grid, with the parent frame allowing overflow. Next up: Looking into sizing in Framer

(different screen layouts like desktop or mobile). Sticky positioning is a bit different. It scrolls with the content, then sticks when it reaches a point in the viewport before continuing again.

Continuing my Framer learning. Today I looked into fixed and sticky positioning, how elements behave as you scroll through a webpage. Fixed positioning keeps an element in the same place on the screen no matter how you scroll.

Grids are a bit more structured, arranging elements in both rows and columns, still learning how to fully use them. It’s starting to make sense how everything connects. Next up: fixed and sticky positioning

Stacks feel more intuitive, they keep layouts consistent in rows or columns and adapt when screen sizes change. I also found it interesting how “fill” and “fit content” affect how elements behave.

While trying to understand relative positioning better, I got into stacks and grids in Framer. They’re layout tools used to arrange elements, especially for responsive designs (similar to auto layout in Figma).

If you're now designing or redesigning a website, this will help you a lot. I recently curated the best hero sections, footers, social proof and other website parts because I got tired of having 15+ tabs open (even with Mobbin). Giving it away 100% free. Comment on this post, and I'll send a Figma link to your inbox!

That part really made me think about how important layout structure is. Next up: Understanding Stacks and Grids.

Continuing my Framer learning. I spent some time understanding Absolute and Relative positioning. Absolute positioning lets you freely move elements within a parent frame. While, Relative positioning is different, it follows the flow of content, especially inside stacks or grids.

There’s one freelancer out there looking for jobs. And instead of pitching themselves to people who need their services, they are busy replying to all the job posts they see. Instead of throwing stones into the river, comment “free cold scripts”. I’ll share the cold scripts I used to increase my response rate.

It felt confusing at first, but I’m beginning to understand how elements behave differently depending on the position type. Documenting my journey as I grow.

New week, new focus. I’ve started learning Framer for website creation. Still exploring the basics, and I came across something interesting, layer positioning which includes: Absolute, Relative, Fixed, and Sticky.

You’re not stuck because you’re not good enough You’re stuck because you lack real experience And no, more courses won’t fix that. What actually moves the needle is doing the work, getting feedback and building something you can confidently show That’s exactly what Cohort 18 is built for. It’s a practical experience where you: • Work on real tasks, not just theory • Get guided by mentors who know the path • Build a portfolio that speaks for you • Grow in a community that holds you accountable Because when opportunity shows up, you shouldn’t be “hoping” you’re ready, you should know you are. If you’re serious about stepping into real opportunities this year, this is your chance to start differently. Apply here👇 forms.gle/ouvHRBG2jpgSit…
