@stormwx1 Interesting! I’m eager to see how the next winter storm this weekend will manifest. Do we expect the same tight gradient setup?

@iamLaser Not just N of 401. The gradient was wild. I watched your weather station at around -2 while a few stations in Cooksville/Dixie area were -6 or -7. Big difference in snow ratios.

17cm in Lorne Park but 25+cm across much of S Mississauga and parts of Toronto. Tight gradient last night where arctic air flooded in bringing much better snow ratios into the GTA but took longer for much of W GTA hence slightly less totals.

@stormwx1 Temps hovered around -1 and -3 deg C during the heaviest snowfall portion of the storm depressing the snow:H20 ratio.

@iamLaser We have over 25cm in Cooksville. That cold air helped with the snow-to-liquid ratios for sure. Seems like it took a bit longer S of the QEW. I was peeled to your station last night watching temperatures lol.
